Celebrating 10 years of cooperation between HMF and Austrian Dunst Hydraulik

In the autumn of 2013, HMF started a cooperation with the Austrian service company Dunst Hydraulik & Ladetechnik, which turned out to be a successful one. A decade later, the two companies can now celebrate their anniversary, looking back on a successful teamwork.

The company Dunst – Austria's very first hydraulics and mobile hose service company – was founded 25 years ago. Over time, the company developed a taste for cranes and got ambitions for more. In 2013, they therefore contacted HMF with the desire to become Austria's primary importer of HMF cranes. As HMF did not have direct export to the country at the time, the dialogue quickly developed from thought to action. After several cross-border visits, it was decided that Dunst should become the exclusive HMF distributor on the Austrian market.

10 years – and still counting

It turned out to be a perfect match. In an impressively few years, Dunst managed to establish a nationwide and competent network of dealers. Especially considering the intense local competition, the market share they have achieved in record time is fascinating. In addition to sales, installation, and servicing of HMF cranes and hydraulic parts, Dunst also deals with Hoeflon mini- cranes and JOAB hook lifts. With their high level of technical know-how, they have continuously contributed to the improvement of HMF's range with suggestions for new solutions and product development.

In addition, Dunst is the ideal importer as they prioritize service very highly and are always available for their customers - just like HMF. They are highly dedicated and strive to always deliver quality solutions at all levels. In this way, Dunst enables HMF to shine in the Austrian market.

Dunst the Family business

Dunst is a family-owned business where the entire family is part of the organization, including founders Josef & Annemarie Dunst together with their 4 children. The family values influence on the entire company and celebrating anniversaries and other special days  are highly prioritized. For example, they hosted their own private Oktoberfest for the employees – Lederhosen, Dirndls, and Tyrolean music included.

Besides the family, the company employs around 50 people in 2 different locations: the department in Lieboch and the headquarter in Grafenschachen, which is currently undergoing a refurbishment to create better conditions for further expansion.

We look forward to witnessing the company's exciting evolvement and to a continuous close collaboration.
