To Hallvard, every day is an adventure in the world of heavy lifting.
His tasks vary from smaller jobs to longer hauls; starting his day at 6 a.m., Hallvard embarks on a journey that could take him anywhere.

Some days he'll deliver building supplies for houses or pick up different shipments in the local area. Other days, he'll go on hauls from East to South around the Oslo-region, or even navigate through the challenging terrain of Norway's West Coast with heavy rain and snow

Hallvard thrives on the unpredictability of his job, as he says: “It’s challenging but fun!”

From long drives and complex crane lifts, Hallvard also enjoys less time-consuming tasks where he gets to talk to many different people in the same day:
“It’s nice to have a cup of coffee before we start the job and discuss how to do it with the best solution for both parties. No customer is the same.”

He's especially excited about the tasks that demands extra caution, where you'll need to trust the equipment 100%. Luckily, the HMF 5020 proves to be his trusted companion, offering both strength and precision. With eight years of experience operating the HMF 5020 crane, he appreciates its reliability:

“I like the 5020 because it’s suitable for almost any job. It operates smooth like a small crane but has the strength of a large one. It’s like "one size fits all", if you know what I mean. The 5020 is perfect for my kind of job"

Besides the crane, Hallvard also values the bond he makes with colleagues alike – some of them, he connects with on Instagram. Other than that, he has a good group of friends who always are up for a talk about different crane jobs.
To Hallvard, being a crane operator isn't just a job - it's a lifestyle filled with challenges and a passion for the perfect lift.
